The Mimaki UJ330H-160 Hybrid Roll to Roll & Flatbed

The Mimaki UJ330H-160 brings added flexibility to UV print production, giving businesses the ability to handle both roll media and rigid substrates on a single platform. From flexible graphics to direct-to-board applications, it supports a wide range of signage, display and interior work without the need for multiple machines.

With support for rigid materials up to 50.8 mm thick and roll media up to 1,620 mm wide, the Mimaki UJ330H-160 is built for print environments where versatility matters. It allows you to move between different job types with ease, helping to keep production efficient and responsive.

Built on Mimaki’s proven 330 Series platform, it delivers consistent, high-quality output with smooth gradations and strong colour density. A belt-driven transport system, combined with UV-LED curing, ensures stable media handling across a variety of substrates, including more sensitive materials.

Designed with practicality in mind, the Mimaki UJ330H-160 features a compact footprint, making it suitable for spaces where traditional flatbed systems may not fit. At the core of the Mimaki UJ330H-160 is the advanced 330 Series print platform, delivering sharp detail, smooth tonal transitions and strong colour density across both rigid and flexible materials.

Its UV print capability opens up additional creative opportunities. High-opacity white ink allows for vibrant results on coloured and transparent substrates, while clear ink enables gloss, matte and textured finishes for more premium applications. Multi-layer printing of up to five layers supports more complex output, including double-sided window graphics and tactile effects.

UV-LED curing ensures prints are instantly dry and ready for finishing, helping to reduce turnaround times and keep production moving. The result is consistent, high-quality output across a wide range of demanding applications

Reliable workflow with next-generation UV inks

The Mimaki UJ330H-160 has been developed to support smooth, predictable production across both rigid boards and roll media. A belt-driven conveyor system ensures stable handling of rigid substrates, while multi-zone vacuum control keeps materials securely positioned throughout the print process.

For roll media applications, the integrated handling system allows for quick changeover between production modes. This makes it easier to move between signage, display graphics and direct-to-board work without slowing down workflow.

New ELS series UV inks further enhance usability in day-to-day production. These formulations are SVHC- and CMR-free and generate approximately 30% less odour, helping create a more comfortable working environment while maintaining the durability and colour performance expected from Mimaki UV printing.

Combined with a compact footprint and straightforward installation, including the ability to pass through a standard doorway, the Mimaki UJ330H-160 offers a practical and efficient route into UV hybrid production.
