Intercoat has manufactured self-adhesive laminates on foil surfaces from polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC, polyester and other plastics in Kaltenkirchen near Hamburg for over 30 years. The company uses no solvents in any part of the manufacturing process, making its production and products environmentally friendly. Intercoat’s water-based adhesives cover the whole spectrum, from repositionable, removable, permanent through to super-permanent for various uses.
Employing over 140 staff and turning over more than EU75 million, Intercoat sells over 140 million square metres of substrate every year. In addition to the range of products Soyang Europe carries, the company also produces high-quality decorative and production labels as well as a dedicated range of high-end wine labels, media for graphical and industrial screen printing and colour film for advertising lettering and decoration.
At the manufacturer’s state-of-the-art production facility in Germany, media such as Monomeric and Polymeric self-adhesive vinyl are produced with a variety of adhesive strengths and backing liners to suit most internal and external short, medium and long-terms installations. Additionally, Intercoat’s speciality films, including the popular Shopstick product are ideal for temporary graphics making it perfect for the retail environment where easily applied and removed promotional signage is required for windows and other flat surfaces.
