The Mimaki TS330-3200DS is a 3.2-metre super-wide hybrid textile inkjet printer developed as a flagship solution for high-volume, grand-format textile production. Combining more than two decades of technological innovation, this industrial machine uniquely accommodates dual workflows. It supports both direct sublimation printing onto fabrics and paper sublimation transfer printing within a single footprint. This hybrid system allows businesses to smoothly pivot between production styles depending on material weight and stretching properties, making it highly adaptable for complex demands.
Driven by the advanced 330 Series Print Engine, the machine achieves high-speed operations of up to 150 square metres per hour at a crisp 600 dpi print resolution. To maintain beautiful image quality at industrial speeds, it integrates Mimaki’s core imaging advancements, such as Advanced Pass System 4 (MAPS4) for banding reduction, Waveform Control for precise spherical droplet placement, and Variable Dot technology with a minimum drop size of 4pl. The physical infrastructure also features specialized media handling tools, including tension rollers and bars to prevent sagging on raw fabrics, alongside a specialized platen designed to minimize paper wrinkling during sublimation transfer tasks.
The dual-purpose engine is built to extend the commercial reach of print providers into both the large-format soft signage and interior furnishing markets. Operators can leverage direct-to-fabric printing with Mimaki Sb420 inks to ensure deep ink penetration necessary for double-sided flags and banners. Simultaneously, the system can utilize Sb411 paper transfer inks to create vibrant prints for stretchable interior textiles, custom beddings, home curtains, sportswear, and fashion apparel. This multifaceted capability allows commercial printing shops to completely dress corporate spaces, offices, and exhibition booths using one versatile piece of machinery.
