The Kala AppliKator is a professional flatbed application table designed for precise, bubble-free adhesive application, lamination, and mounting of wide-format graphics, vinyls, films, and rigid boards. Ideal for signage, vehicle graphics, displays, and general print finishing, it delivers consistent results with a single operator while maximising productivity and workspace efficiency.
What Makes the AppliKator Different
Kala was the first manufacturer to use electric motors (instead of pneumatic systems) to control roller elevation and pressure. This eliminates the need for a compressor, reduces noise, and enables superior precision and safety.
Key advantages include:
- Dual electric motors ensure the roller remains perfectly parallel to the table surface, even when working with narrower media positioned off-centre.
- Laser safety sensor automatically slows the roller descent when an obstacle (hand, tool, or fragile media such as foam board) is detected.
- Three preset pressure levels (low / medium / high) selectable from control panels on both sides of the machine for repeatable quality.
- High-resistance silicone roller that resists adhesive build-up for cleaner operation and longer life.
- Generous storage space underneath the table for boards, rolls, or workflow materials.
