Digitally printable media specialist, Soyang Europe has announced stock availability of several new products, as the company grows its comprehensive collections of printable materials for the wide and super-wide format sectors.

We continuously consult with our customers to find out what we can both manufacture and distribute in order to meet their ever-changing needs,” explains Soyang Europe’s Managing Director, Mark Mashiter. “The textile market continues to grow and we have new backlit, black back and display polyester materials manufactured at our new factory in Haining, China, and also from our long-standing European partners.”

Soyang Europe is now stocking its new ST608 Athena Backlit material, which is produced using the latest coating line technology, giving a smooth textile finish. Available up to 3.2m wide and suitable for both UV and latex inks, Athena is ideal for the burgeoning retail and exhibition graphics markets.

Also complementing its broad range of printable textiles are two new products from Endutex; Terra 260 BW FR Black Back and Sirius Backlit. Terra 260 is a black back textile ideal for retail and exhibition graphics where there’s a requirement to have no light from the reverse, such as when disguising a supporting framework or concealing existing graphics. Available in widths up to 5m, Terra 260 can be printed with both UV and latex inks. Sirius is a high-quality backlit fabric that, importantly, is available in widths up to 5m which is uncommon for a backlit textile. Compatible with both UV and latex printers, Sirius is ideal for larger, more extensive graphics. Both new fabrics satisfy the stringent EN13501-1 fire classification procedure.

“In addition to textiles, we’re also seeing continued growth and interest in the flooring market,” continues Mashiter. “Across all sectors, we’re seeing that printed flooring is playing an increasingly important role in commercial, industrial and even domestic environments and our flooring collection is expanding in response to this demand.”

New to the UK flooring market are Universal Floor and Grip Floor, both featuring FR certification and available from stock from Soyang Europe’s Lancashire Distribution Centre. Universal Floor is a short-term solution, perfect for exhibition stands where a comfortable cushioned surface can be combined with printed graphics or designs. It’s available in widths up to 4m and can be printed on larger UV and latex machines. Grip Floor is a long lasting, printable flooring with a rough surface giving it satisfactory anti-slip performance, fulfilling health and safety requirements. Available in a 1.05m width and compatible with UV, latex and solvent ink types, this self-adhesive backed PVC flooring with anti-slip certification is also ideal for the exhibition and retail sectors.
