Soyang Europe becomes distribution partner for DESARDI® wallcoverings

Leading printable media supplier, Soyang Europe has announced it is to become the UK distributor for creative wallcoverings manufacturer, DESARDI®, as it looks to expand its creative material portfolio to meet demand for high-end, bespoke interior décor.

“The DESARDI® wallcovering ranges bring tremendous creative potential in the form of a blank canvas,” comments Mark Mashiter, Managing Director at Soyang Europe. “Bespoke interior décor is a growing industry and print plays a massive role in this, for both the domestic and commercial sectors. We have seen a big increase in the number of printing companies looking for printable wallpaper options for high-end hotels, restaurants and corporate environments, as well as for individuals looking to put their stamp on their home with a feature wall.”

Soyang Europe has stock of a number of DESARDI® products available on a next day delivery service from its Lancashire distribution centre. DESARDI® Classic paperbased wallpaper is a UV, latex and solvent compatible wallcovering and Soyang Europe will stock two finishes; DESARDI® Fine has a matte, fine, gritty vinyl coated embossing making it an ideal product for colourful and high-resolution wall decorations whilst DESARDI® Rough is a paper-backed textured vinyl coated printable wallpaper with a classic bold stucco like texture that will change any interior.

“DESARDI® paper backed wallcovering media are fire retardant making them a safe and economical choice for homes, retail and hospitality environments,” continues Mashiter. “In addition to the paperbased wallcoverings, we will be stocking a selection of DESARDI®’s Classic non-woven wallpaper range, including DESARDI® Tex Smooth, Fine, Linen, Rough and Brush. These creative textures give so many options and the entire Classic range is durable, washable, flame retardant, has excellent image quality and is Bio-Pruf™ treated, giving long-lasting antimicrobial protection for applications in clinical settings.”

DESARDI® Walltex will also be available through Soyang Europe. This luxurious range of wallcoverings with a textile backing is highly durable for environments such as those for the healthcare, leisure and hotel industries. “WallTex is a dimensionally stable PVC-free printable textile wallpaper with a matte ­finish especially made for applications like seamless wall coverings, trade show graphics, backdrops, roll-up displays and front-lit framing systems,” explains Mashiter. “It complies with the Oeko-Tex® 100 and B1 fire ­retardancy standards, which is crucial.”

DESARDI® has recently attended FESPA in Munich, Germany where the company took part in the Printeriors showcase. Printeriors 2019 took the form of an interactive visitor experience, demonstrating a multitude of interior décor applications and gave visitors a good introduction to DESARDI® wallcovering products and their application in a unique décor setting.
