With unprecedented interest in textile printing during this year’s FESPA exhibition, printable media manufacturer and distributor, Soyang Europe is seeing a substantial increase in demand for its dye sublimation and UV printable grand format fabrics.

Coupled with a recent investment in the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, Soyang has launched several new display, black-back and backlit fabrics that offer substantial benefits over alternatives and the company is already seeing significant take-up by companies with grand format dye sub and UV hardware.

“The specialist team at Soyang Europe has a wealth of technical knowledge to match the correct product to customers’ applications and with new fabrics being constantly developed, there are three notable additions to the line-up,” states sales manager, Tim Egerton. “A new display polyester has been added to the range along with a new black-back fabric and, with the ever-increasing popularity of large lightboxes for retail, we’ve introduced a new backlit textile as well.”

Soyang’s new, state-of-the-art, 66,000sq metre factory sports the latest in manufacturing and coating lines, enabling the company to offer materials up to 3.2m wide. “By consistently adding new technology, we’re assured of remaining at the forefront of the textile industry,” comments Egerton.

Soyang’s new display polyester is ideal for retail and exhibition graphics and is printable with dye sub and UV cure inks. With its dense and compact structure created through careful yarn selection, it’s possible to deliver strikingly vibrant colours with either ink technology. The company’s new black-back fabric is suited to applications that require total blockout and with the black-back range comprising four different finishes it delivers a solution that’s available in lightweight woven or even knitted structures up to 3.2m wide. Ideal for use within textile tension frame systems, these fabrics provide a high-quality product with no rear show through.

Soyang’s new SoTex backlit meets the continuing demand for oversized lightboxes in retail stores, public spaces and exhibition halls. This expanding range of grand format backlit materials uses the latest coating technologies and state-of-the-art yarns to deliver a premium finish. “All Soyang products are available for fast shipping from our UK distribution centre throughout Europe and we stock options for UV, latex and dye sublimation ink technologies,” concludes Egerton.
