The Keencut Evolution3 FreeHand delivers the accuracy and cutting performance of the Evolution3 range in a portable format. Designed for workshops where the cutter needs to move between different benches or production areas, it provides a flexible alternative to a permanently installed cutting system.
Accurate cutting wherever you need it
The FreeHand can be positioned directly over the material and moved between workstations as required. Two silicone grip strips underneath the cutting bar help prevent movement during use, while the heavy base and solid construction create a stable cutting platform.
An integrated sightline strip clearly shows where the cut will be made, making it easier to align printed graphics, panels and sheet materials before cutting.
Guaranteed cutting accuracy
The Evolution3 FreeHand is guaranteed to cut within 0.2mm of a straight line across the full cutting length. Its self-adjusting track roller system provides smooth movement along the bar without sideways movement, while rigid blade clamping helps maintain consistent blade control.
This level of precision makes the FreeHand particularly useful for trimming graphics and preparing adjoining panels where clean, accurate edges are essential.
Flexible QuikSwap tool system
Keencut’s QuikSwap system allows compatible tool heads to be attached or removed in seconds, enabling the FreeHand to support a wider range of cutting and finishing applications.
The optional Fabric tool head can be used for textiles, paper, film, vinyl, banners and other delicate materials when used with a suitable cutting mat. The optional Creaser tool head is designed for paper, card, corrugated cardboard and greyboard, while the Rocker tool head provides a general-purpose option for banners, cardboard, foamboard and occasional aluminium composite panel cutting with the correct blade.
Available cutting sizes
The Keencut Evolution3 FreeHand is available in cutting lengths of 1.1m, 1.6m, 2.1m, 2.6m and 3.1m, allowing businesses to select a model suited to their typical sheet and graphic sizes.
